Over the last few months, we've had the pleasure of becoming friends with Mr. and Mrs. Jones, hosts of the very popular lifestyle podcast "We Gotta Thing". The last time we hung out, there was an embarrassing issue that we wanted to talk about. In the heat of the moment I (Jay) was unable to maintain an erection. Obviously this troubled me and I was ashamed not only in the moment, but for days afterward when I would think back to that night. Struggling with my emotions, I discussed it with Kay and finally we reached out to the Jones' and decided to co-podcast on the issue so we could discuss not only my feelings, but how it affected all involved.

We discuss our struggle with the idea of bringing our kids along to a beach house when we were invited by some lifestyle friends. We meet a new couple who are happy to answer our questions about polyamory. A few months after we entered the lifestyle we came out to our good friend Sophia and even let her know that we had started a podcast. You may recognize her as the intro/extro voice to our podcast. We attended our first ever lifestyle convention and wow, talk about go big or go home! Over 1600 swingers converging on New Orleans and centered on Bourbon street ready to party and swing. We met some of our favorite podcasters as well as some lovely couples but had difficulty connecting with individual couples in order to play. We talk about how our experience was a mismatch with our expectations and how it affected us.

We were hesitant to meet a couple based off of their profile but wow, we're glad we did! We had a great dinner with a sexy duo followed by some hot video phone sex that night and a few weeks later we hosted them at our house on the night before leaving for Naughty in N'awlins. We meet a really great Indian couple for drinks, have great conversation about the lifestyle and travel and one thing leads to another before we're entangled in hot sex. Kay explores her girl-girl attraction and discovers that she really likes it with the right woman.
We were invited to our first houseparty, a fun birthday celebration for the hostess. Her gift? 10 minutes alone in the playroom with every guy at the party. We talk about the anticipation and of course we go into detail about the amazing time we had!
We go on a date to meet another couple that reached out to us and end up throwing all “rules” to the side and plunging headfirst into a full swap. There is a rookie mistake of too much liquid courage and Kay ends up needing a Home Depot bucket. We discuss our feelings leading up to, during and after the encounter as well as some real talk about how we could have done things better.
Well we did it! Our first podcast is up and we tell a little bit about ourselves, our journey into the lifestyle and how we met our first couple. We hope you'll enjoy listening and we look forward to our next podcast already.
