How we respond to the good things in our life has a lot to do with our faith. How we respond to the bitter things in our live has a lot to do with our faith. The challenge is to be able to maintain a forward moving faith by living in obedience and constant awareness of the need to worship the God of both the blessing and the testing.

There are many things in this life that can cause us to fear. Then, fear can cause us to panic or experience paralysis. Christians need regular reminders that our God is greater than all and that he is calling us follow him forward by faith.

The commonly walked paths in life are either the popular way of culture or the way that I personally determine. Good News! - These are not the only options… God’s Way is A Better Way. His way leads life, freedom, growth and transformation. Choose A Better Way!

The Living God's power was made clearly visible through the plagues that he unleashed on Egypt. The plagues were not the greatest display of his power. Our forgiveness was the greatest display of his power when he defeated Satan, Sin and Death.

Don’t get caught off guard, following Jesus is not always easy and there will be resistance from the opponent (the Devil). When things are hard, turn toward the Savior instead of away from him.

As Christians we are meant to move forward by faith. It may not always be pretty or fast, but every step of obedience is important.

Arguments tend emphasize one point - “I Know Better Than You”! Many people argue against the Living God, and do not realize that he is for us! Listen and learn from Moses as he argues with God and his plan to use Moses for his purposes. #arguingwithGod #lessonsfromtheExodus

Academics are important… but they do not make a person a person wise. One of the traits of a follower of Jesus is that we should be humble and teachable people. God helped Moses to become teachable and he can help us.

Jesus has graciously brought us into his family (the body of Christ). He has graciously given us Spiritual Gifts to serve him, one another and our world. If we will humble ourselves and use our gifts… it will change us and our culture.

Jesus gave his life for us, we are to surrender our lives to him. To be in a place of continual and willing surrender is to be a Living Sacrifice.

God’s Grace is both Kind and Severe. He loves lost, disobedient, rebellious people with a kindness that defies our logic. Yet, he will not abide with pride and unbelief. The more one studies God’s Grace the more riches and beauty you will discover.

Karma is a religious thought system of cause and effect. If you do something good, good happens to you… If you do something bad, bad happens to you… Karma is both just and cruel - it leaves you longing for something better. Good Friday 2020

Palm Sunday… is not about palm branches and it is not about a donkey. What makes the triumphal entry of Jesus is that he came with righteousness, salvation and humility. He is the King!

It is an “Election” year and that means that people are going to be asked to “choose” a candidate to vote for. God is the author of Election and before this world was formed he “chose/elected” to rescue and save undeserving people. He is not under obligation to save anyone and the fact that he does is Pure Grace! #puregrace #Godsplanwillprevail #Heyharvest

It is easy to lose compassion for others when you are going through a hard time or have just emerged from a hard time. This is when we call upon the Savior to help us to have a heart like his. Remember, that it is Pure Grace that any of us get to enjoy God’s forgiveness and blessing.

You’ve got questions and the Scriptures have answers… i.e. Can anything separate me from the Love of God? Absolutely Not!! - Not even Covid-19! Stay strong church!!

This passage brings great comfort to Christians around the world and this passage has brought confusion for Christians around the world. In the middle of the tension between comfort and confusion we will find perspective, purpose and the process that God will use to bring about Good!

Nature…Creation itself is groaning due to the effects of sin in our world. Christians are groaning as we wait for God to set everything right and deliver us from the presence of sin. The Holy Spirit is groaning as he intercedes for believers before our Father in Heaven.

When we put our faith in Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit makes his home in us. He brings the power and expertise of Heaven to an Extreme Home Makeover into the life of every Christian. We are not just a minor remodel job… the Savior has big plans for each of his children!

To be declared not guilty is powerful and freeing, especially if your life is on the line. Every person who is found “IN” Jesus Christ has been declared not guilty and free to Live in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Christians wonder why they still struggle with sin… it is because the power of sin is broken but the presence of sin in our world is very real. This means there is a war that rages between our “flesh” and the Spirit of God. Good News! The Spirit of God is Greater than our sin!

Religion and the law is always spelled “D-O”! It means doing, doing, doing in an attempt to earn God’s favor. Gospel is always spelled “D-O-N-E”! It is totally dependent on the finished work of Jesus. Christians are Free to serve Jesus from grateful hearts instead of obligation.

Everyone, everywhere has been born into slavery to sin… We cannot free ourselves but Jesus can set us free! As free people we must not return and put the shackles of sin back on.

A Follower of Jesus is exists as both Dead to Sin (no longer under sin’s power) and Alive to Christ (living out eternal life, right now)! First, we need to KKNOW the Truth, then OWN the Truth and finally LIVE the Truth!

We all need to know how to navigate the change(s) that this life will bring to us. The future is not always clear to us but it is to the Savior. Be prepared to exercise your faith in Jesus as we follow him through change.

The New Year brings both excitement and anxiety to many. Good News! The Lord is ahead of us and has all that the New Year will bring us in his hand

The Scriptures remind us that no matter how much change we face, the Lord is faithful, reliable and present. Be Strong and Courageous!

Find Spiritual Peace, Emotional Peace and Relational Peace by running to the source… The Prince of Peace.

Joy is produced and delivered by the Savior, Jesus Christ and it is available to all who put their faith in him.

Who does God love? Could God Love me? Does he Love me? These amazing questions were all answered by the Angels on the night of Jesus’ birth. Hark! (Listen)! to what the Herald-Angel(s) are saying.

Where do you find hope? Look to the manger, look to the cross and look deeply at the person of Jesus Christ. He is where our Hope is found!

Jesus invites us to leave sin behind and to be born again into his family.

Faith is the Key that unlocks the door to the amazing benefits of knowing and loving the Savior.

Grace is a Gift… You can’t earn God’s favor… Abraham understood this reality… Follow in Abraham's Footsteps of Faith! It’s our turn to follow Jesus by faith!

The Bad News is that sin has created a massive canyon between humanity and God. The GOOD NEWS is that Jesus has made a way for us to be Saved, Justified and Redeemed.

Religious people and moralists often struggle with their need for Jesus. “I’m not that bad…” is a prideful and dangerous self-image.

The Good News of salvation is even more pronounced when we properly understand the bad news about our sin.

The Gospel is for EVERYONE! It is for the rich and the poor, it is for the educated and the uneducated… Anyone can have a relationship with the Living God through FAITH in Jesus Christ.

God has used the power of the written word to change the world and he intends to change us as we interact with this letter to the Romans!

We need the Resolve of Heaven to Live for Christ in the "right here and now”

It's time to lift your eyes and see that the Living God is right there with you.

May the Lord Jesus give you the RESOLVE needed to live for him when your Faith is Under Fire.

Real Life is filled with real pressures. May the Lord give us the RESOLVE of heaven to live for him right here and now, while under pressure.

As we embrace God’s design for us, we will begin to enjoy relationships, work and rest all the more.

We have to make bringing Glory to God our life's goal and strive to honor God with everything we have.

The Parable of the Laborers in the Vineyard - God in His generosity has promised us He will give us more than we ever deserve, His peace, His hope, His love, His presence, and He is not slow in keeping His promises.

There’s a day coming when Jesus will come back for His bride and the only way to be ready is to live our lives like it could be today!

No matter how far we move away from God, when we turn towards Him, He will close the gap and bring us back to Him.

With our hope resting firmly in God’s character, we’re freed to live for His Honor and His Glory, which is our divinely crafted purpose.

Kingdom of God is the only thing worth pursuing, the only thing that can deliver what everything else is promising.

Sometimes in our fast-paced microwave society we forget that the Kingdom of God doesn’t instantly manifest itself in our lives, it takes time, and involves a process, but it always produces a harvest.

God will sometimes ask us to start a journey and trust that He knows where we need to be.

When we invite Jesus into our lives and let Him lead, He invites us, actually He commands us, to come to Him continually.

What you believe will drive what you do.

Let's hold on loosely to the things of this world and hold on tightly to the Savior.

Be a leader and get ready to follow.

The Foundation of a person’s life will be exposed when the storms of life beat against them. Build your life on a relationship with Jesus!

Jesus is ready to Attack Anxiety in our lives and he is calling for a radical reprioritization of how we live each day.

True Worshippers will be people who understand and practice personal fasting. They will also value what the Savior values! Does this sound overwhelming? I GIVE Up!

Jesus gave his followers (Christians) an exclusive and powerful model that is based on the reality of God as our Father. It is time to RE:LEARN how to Pray!

Are you ready to hear what Jesus has to say about being a Genuine and Generous worshipper of our Father in Heaven?

Good News! Christians are NOT bound to our Natural inclinations, we have the Supernatural help of the Holy Spirit to overcome the urge to retaliate.

When we we say, “yes” we mean it and when we say, “no” we mean it. Keep it simple, live with Integrity!

Get ready to be RE:TRAINed and Get Serious about what the Savior takes seriously!

Jesus views Anger in the heart very seriously and so should we. Jesus, help us to be teachable…

The standard we use to determine our worth is of ultimate importance.

As Christians (citizens of heaven) who live here and now on earth, we are to bring the influence and culture of heaven right into our own culture.

Truth: Faith in Jesus will produce internal qualities that won’t be able to be contained!

Glory to Jesus, He willingly shows us that happiness is found in the Kingdom of God.

One of our highest values as a church is that we would be Gospel-Centered in all that we are and do.

As we think about what is "most important”, it is good and right to ask Jesus what is “most important” to Him. His answer may surprise you but it definitely will encourage you.

We need Jesus to fill us with both Grace and Truth continually to be able love people and navigate the ever changing landscape of life.

Child of Peace - The King of Heaven made peace for all of us through gifting us His Son. Now, there can be Peace on Earth.

Whatever you are facing today, remember that Jesus is present and that he is still Immanuel!

When you see Moses, a child drawn out of obscurity and used to deliver a multitude of people from slavery… it is just a glimpse of what Jesus would do for the whole world!

This message is especially important for every parent, boss and individual who has a leadership role.

God is patient with us and he can help us to develop patience in our lives.

Let’s learn to Trust Jesus more.

Because of the power of the Holy Spirit at work in our lives we can mend a bond, which has been torn by pride.

If we will not grant forgiveness to others we will never experience the true joy and freedom that Jesus intends.
