Every single one of us, without exception, has been hurt. The real question arises when we look at how we respond to being hurt. Though forgiveness often seems elusive, it is the only meaningful response we can truly take. It is one thing to stand and fight for a cause, but it's a totally different thing to stand and fight for a person. Preached 11/28/16

Splitting up the last beatitude into two parts, we look first at what is the only thing compelling enough for someone to follow the words of Jesus when He said, "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of God." Preached 11/14/16

With only a few weeks left in our series on the beatitudes look at "Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called Sons of God." This term peacemakers is a term only used here in the beatitudes in the whole of the bible and Jesus gave great weight to what it really meant. Preached 11/07/16
