In preparation for their upcoming interview with actor/director Hart Bochner, the dudes discuss the Cameron Crowe scripted underrated cult classic, The Wild Life and it’s equally under appreciated film score by Edward “Eddie” Van Halen! They speculate about why this film never received a proper DVD or Blu-Ray release, whether or not it’s a sequel to Fast Times At Ridgemont High, why Hart’s character “David” is a great sleaze ball, the Lea Thompson/Eric Stoltz 80s trilogy that never happened, and the terrible slang term, “It’s Casual!” Shoplifting, tennis sweaters, Andy Kaufman, and much more covered in another entertaining romp through the greatest decade for pop culture entertainment! In episode 25, Dustin and Zak discuss the 1987 cult classic White Water Summer along with the soundtrack that never was!

In preparation for their upcoming interview with Matt Adler (Teen Wolf, North Shore, & White Water Summer), the dudes breakdown the 1987 coming of age adventure White Water Summer and ask the question, “Is 1985 Sean Astin cooler than 1987 Sean Astin?” D & Z also talk about the impact the film had on them as kids as well as now…33 years later!

Initially, the dudes were going to pick one song from White Water Summer to discuss, but they soon realized, the film had too many to choose from! So, the entire soundtrack is reflected upon! They also talk about why Columbia Pictures dropped the ball on never releasing a proper soundtrack with so many hot hits!

Notable moments from 1987 are discussed, whether or not Dustin and Zak went to summer camp when they were kids, why Kevin Bacon’s character Vic is a sociopath, and much more! It’s a white water ride of an episode you won’t wanna miss!

He also talked about how he got his start in the film industry (making over 60 films!), his relationship with Chuck Norris and Cynthia Rothrock, the insane shooting schedule when making movies with Jackie Chan, stunt coordinating for Mad Max: Fury Road, and training actors like Margot Robbie and Scarlett Johansson. By the end of the interview, Dustin and Zak were hoping Richard would be their sensei in life! Richard is true icon for many of the above mentioned reasons and so much more. He has a philosophy on life that should not be missed. We hope you enjoy his career retrospective as much as we did!
