Have A Gym Goal!
18 perc 4. rész Rob De Ville
Having a goal in the gym will be more beneficial than just walking around and winging it. Having goals about your health and fitness will also help you achieve greater lasting results. However, this episode I try to stay on topic but I had a horrible experience with a young lady that just doesn't have any real plan and complains about everything and finds an excuse on why she can't do anything from "hands hurt" to "I don't see the point in this." If you don't have a goal, you get your trainers goal and I guarantee they're more than likely not what you want.
Breathing
18 perc 3. rész Rob De Ville
Breathing while lifting weights has been ingrained into heads pretty hardcore on how to do it right, and how to do it wrong; but there are other methods and ways to breathe that produce more a productive time spent in the gym, as well as more conductive to how your body functions and operates. http://www.robdevillept.com/podcast
The No Excuses Diet
26 perc 2. rész Rob De Ville
The fact about diet and nutrition is that always-fit people don't know what it's like to deal with the emotional eating, the lack of self control, or the ability to change these things. However with a few simple tweets, the no excuses diet isn't a diet at all. It's a way to learn about ourselves and have control over our food, instead of our food controlling us.
Carbs: Cut'em Down. Not Out
28 perc 1. rész Rob De Ville
Carbs are by far the most misunderstood nutrient on any label and in everyone's mind. Carbs are used for energy, by breaking down into glycogen which is then used as energy immediately. However we all eat too many carbs to use ALL of the newly converted glycogen as energy so we store whats left over as fat to be used later. But due to our diet we end up overeating more carbs later, and the cycle continues. This causes weight gain.
