The next few weeks on the Savvy Business Show, I'm going to be interviewing some phenomenal business owners who in the face of everything that's going on have been able to show up and either grow or sustain their businesses.
Now, why is it important for us to listen to them? Well, when we see other people do amazing and great things, it inspires us to continue showing up and doing amazing things or achieving the wonderful things that we want in our own life as well. That is why I wanted to bring back today Janet Mesh, who is the CEO and cofounder of AIMTEL a digital marketing agency. After freelancing full time for two years, Janet decided to start the digital marketing agency to scale her marketing offers. I have known Janet for quite a while. She has been a client of mine and I have just been so impressed with how she has built her business to work remotely so fast and everything that she's accomplished since starting her business.
I specifically wanted to bring her back here today to tell us how she has helped her clients to pivot and innovate during this time and what mindset shifts she has had to make to continue to show up and lead her team from her highest self.
Janet shares with us how Aimtel was built to be a fully remote digital marketing agency, and how using the processes, tools, and resources they already had in place allowed them to quickly pivot with their clients. They were able to use their experience and work with their clients to be proactive with their marketing strategies vs reactive.

On today’s episode of The Savvy Business Show we have a very special guest. This special guest is the editor of this podcast, the go-to video guy, and also my husband. Robert Antonelli is the owner of Antonelli Visual Media and today he is going to talk with us about how his resiliency routine and his money mindset has helped during this time when his business has been severely impacted by COVID-19.
Let’s Dive In!
During the COVID-19 epidemic many entrepreneurs have had to make a shift to their business. Today we are going to talk about the things that have helped him show up every single day and continue on despite uncertainty and the challenges he has faced.
Robert runs a video production company whose primary focuses on weddings. Unfortunately with COVID-19 the wedding industry has been hit hard. This has made a huge impact on the financial budget well into 2021.
Bob has joined me to develop a resiliency routine that works for us. You might be asking yourself how do you get a partner to start a resiliency routine with you that perhaps they were hesitant to do before. By enthusiastically sharing your ideas with another allows you to inspire others to start theirs.
So what steps has Robert taken to focus on his resiliency routine?
Meditation
Starting his day with meditation allows him to get present with himself. This helps him to not have tunnel vision and control stress so that he can focus on possible solutions. It has allowed him to release attachment to the outcomes that were supposed to happen.
Focusing on Money Mindset
Letting go of the worry where money will come from and letting go of worry that you won’t get anymore business, because it is out of your control. This opens up your mind to allow you to focus on new opportunities that can come your way. It is a time where you allow your business to grow in the direction that it should. Opening his business up for innovation.
Remember that this will not always be the thing that you want to do, but when you have this routine you will see results. Having a resiliency routine and money mindset makes you more resilient, helps you to adapt, to bounce back, and to move forward.

Today on The Savvy Business Show I’m going to share two quick and easy ways to help you tap back into both ease and confidence is by asking yourself the following:
What do you need right now at this very moment?
I’ve personally been doing this every day. Remember that right now - I’m having to hold the space for people who are freaking out and unloading on me EVERY DAY. And in order to help and guide them to come up with the very best innovative solutions that will help their business not only survive in the short run but thrive in the long run, I need to show up grounded and calm.
And the way to do that is to NURTURE myself.
Your clients and your team are looking to you to lead them right now, and it will be way easier to do that when you feel nurtured and taken care of yourself.

Hello There Listeners and welcome back to the Savvy Business Show.
When we look at the online business world and what they teach it’s all the sexy shiny “make your first 6 figures in 60 days” Or Your blue-print to 7 figures now! …
And I get it… that’s the sexy stuff, the “cool marketing strategies”
But the reality of the matter is that a sustainable and profitable business takes WAYYY more than just sexy marketing, a funnel or drip campaign… it involves way more than converting clients and making sales…
And the online #girlboss #bossbabe rah-rah world NEVER talks about the rest…
And I get it – it’s not sexy… but this stuff that they’re not discussing is CRUCIAL to building concrete and solid business.
SO what does all this have to do with my recent cancer scare? Come find out on the latest episode of The Savvy Business Show

Hello There Listeners and welcome back to the Savvy Business Show.
It’s B-School time again and the interwebs and your inbox are BUZZING and flooded with everything about the program.
If you’re new to Marie Forleo and her B-School program, here’s a quick rundown: Marie Forleo is an American life coach, motivational speaker, author and web television host of Marie TV.
She is the owner of Marie Forleo International, B-School and MarieTV.
B-School is her 8-week program that helps entrepreneurs to build online businesses. It’s intense with a TON of information.
I took it in 2014 when I had no idea how to market and I did find it helpful, however – if you’re a seasoned business owner I wouldn’t recommend you buying it, rather invest the money and hire people who already know
SO why should you care!? Well having followed Marie for the last 6 years, I’ve noticed quite a few things that she does SO RIGHT and has lead to her success and it’s also these very things that she does so RIGHT that I see other business owners do wrong.
Now it’s important to note that there is a lot of things that she’s done right (and we also have to remember that there was also a little bit of being at the right place at the right time with the right idea involved.)
But today I’m going to specifically focus on THREE things that she’s done that will greatly help you in your business too.
Come check out more of my new episode here.
So when can I call myself a CEO??
I get this question quite often. Usually when this question gets asked it’s asked from a place of doubt, uncertainty.
Traditionally when we think of CEOs we think of big stuffy board rooms and men in suits – with MBAs, decades of experience and more.
INTIMIDATING. No wonder so many women I work with feel a little uneasy calling themselves CEOs.
Ok so back to the old boys club in suits… no, you don’t have to become one of them at all.
And I completely get why it’s so intimidating to call yourself the CEO of your business as well – after all – you may not be running a Fortune 500 company (yet)…
So how dare you call yourself a CEO – right? Right? — um nope.
See here’s the deal. In business, there is this definitive point where in order to grow and scale further, you MUST graduate to being the CEO of your company.
If your ready to transform your business book a call with me and I’ll answer all your pressing questions and tell you more about the process of going from the workhorse to being the CEO of your company.
2019 was a fun year in business, a few high-lights included: hosting the first Savvy Business Retreat in March and again in November. Expanding the Savvy Business Community and meeting and working with some phenomenal private coaching clients. And once again a record breaking revenue year as well.
1: Leading with your intention vs fear result in better decisions and profits
2: Clarity leads to ease
3: I’m no longer here to be nice
4: What got you here won’t get you there
5: Accountability and Support is a must
The most important thing needed to grow a business is consistent action and in order to take this consistent action you need to work through your fears, know your weaknesses and how they’ll get in the way of what you want -- for me this means investing in coaches, retreats and or masterminds. Having people who can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with me in my business and understand exactly what it means to run a business, who can I can talk things through, ask for help is priceless.
And equally important is having the right team members who are rockstars at what they do to support me in my business and do all the things that I’m not good at or who can do the things that will free me up to have more impact.
And those are my five lessons of 2019! Now I’d love to hear some of yours. Either hop on over to the show notes and my blog to let me know or DM me via instagram.
And -- if you’d like to gain clarity on what will get you to the next level in your business and would like to transform to a confident CEO working with more ease, then be sure to reach out to me by either visiting hannekeantonelli.com or email me at info@hannekantonelli.com. I look forward to hearing from you and helping you to experience more ease and joy in your business in 2020.
