In this programme, Jonathan Franzen reads from his new novel 'Freedom' and is interviewed by fellow writer Hugo Hamilton. Franzen is famous for snubbing Oprah Winfrey’s Book Club with his last novel, The Corrections, and speculation is rife at the moment that Oprah might forgive him and name Freedom as her last ever book club choice.
