It's all Skyrim this and Skyrim that and Kumail starts formulating a new religion based on the teachings of Skyrim. Then, in Side-Quest, Emily & Kumail discuss the big Gears of War contest some more, and share tips on how to game on a budget.

Jeff Rubin (College Humor, The Jeff Rubin Jeff Rubin Show) decided to watch every single video game released theatrically in the United States. He visits The Indoor Kids to tell the story of their successes and their failures. Mostly their failures. Like, almost exclusively. Then, during Side-Quest, Emily & Kumail announce a big huge contest for listeners with tons of awesome prizes. Yep.

Dan Harmon (creator of Community and Channel 101) stops in at The Indoor Kids headquarters to discuss linear vs. open world games and how evolutionary theory ties into gaming. The singularity comes up again. Also, Minecraft. And then, in the Side-Quest, Kumail & Emily discuss their final thoughts on Arkham City & their first impressions of Uncharted 3.

Steve Heisler (AV Club Writer and Game Reviewer) stopped playing video games around Super Nintendo. A year ago, for The AV Club, he started playing the blockbuster games of today and reviewing them with fresh, childlike eyes. What's it like to make the jump from Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past straight to Bioshock? How do The Indoor Kids feel about Steve getting to avoid the exciting, hit-or-miss years of Playstation 1, Playstation 2 and XBox? What's it like to review games for a living, and how do you stay objective in such a subjective field? Find out!

Host/model Chloe Dykstra stops in to discuss cosplay, growing up awkward, and being a girl in the scary/anonymous world of online gaming. We then get into a discussion of what makes us who we are and how we define ourselves online and in person. Also, we think Twilight sucks.

The Indead Kids host Blair Butler (G4's Attack of the Show, Fresh Ink) as they each discuss their 5 favorite scary games. Blood is spilled! Lives are lost! Lists are read! G4's Stephen Johnson (Feedback) comes over to tell us about playing video games for a living, and the weird artscience of reviewing video games. Then we get into a discussion of games that everyone loves but we hate. We bare our souls here people. We expect the trolling to begin immediately.

Today at The Indoor Kids headquarters, comedian Duncan Trussell (The Lavender Hour) stops in to school us on StarCraft 2, and why he thinks it is the greatest video game ever made. We also discuss sex vs. violence in video games, and find out more about Stephen Hawking than any of us had bargained for. Like, way more. Yep.

Paul Scheer (NTSFSD:SUV, The League, Human Giant, Children’s Hospital) has made some terrible decisions when it comes to choosing consoles. In the past he has owned Sega CD, Sega 32x, Atari Lynx, and even the Philips 3DO. He comes over to talk about what it felt like to always have the wrong console, and The Indoor Kids end up talking about an alternate history of video games, full of promises broken and games unreleased.

The Indoor Kids tell stories of gaming with their parents, and read listener letters about their experiences. Ron Funches (Conan) drops in to talk about bonding with his 8 year old son through gaming, and to lament the lack of black protagonists in video games. (Yes, we know about Michael Jackson in Moonwalker.) Spoiler alert: He hates Barret in Final Fantasy 7.

Aisha Tyler (Archer) & The Indoor Kids discuss her gaming rules, her gaming strategies, and her plans for the impending Zombiepocalypse. Oh, and masturbation. They talk about masturbation for a while.

The Indoor Kids say farewell to Ali Baker, who must move back to the East Coast to further her education, and welcome Emily V. Gordon as the new co-host. Steve Agee (Sara Silverman Program, first guest on our podcast) returns to usher in a new beginning and read all the wonderful letters that our wonderful listeners have sent in. A bittersweet time is had by all.

The special 16 bit music episode features comedians Brent Weinbach and Moshe Kasher playing their favorite music from SNES games and trying to figure out what the secret of Mana actually is.

Carlos Ferro (Dom from Gears of War, Leonardo Da Vinci from Assassin's Creed, and 100's of other games) stops by to talk about the his favorite superheroes, whether being a "geek" has become mainstream, and that one scene in Gears of War 2 that made him cry. (Let's face it, it made all of us cry.)

They take a nostalgic tour of the first consoles they ever bought, the first games they ever beat, and which video games have special emotional significance for them. And Seaman. They talk about Seaman.

The Indoor Kids welcome comedian Pete Holmes (Conan, Fallon), and Emily Gordon (G4's Feedback, Program Director of the Nerdist Theater at Meltdown Comics). We discuss the pros and cons of couples gaming, as well as whether there is a difference in the way that girls and guys approach gaming in general. Also, serial killers & drug dealers in The Sims, those infernal murder-crows in Resident Evil, and extremely terrifying flower patches.

The 2nd episode of The Indoor Kids sees Kumail Nanjiani and Ali Baker welcoming Justin Roiland (Oscar from Disney's Fish Hooks) to the show.
