Welcome to Episode 34 of The Masterclass in association with Sport Social.

This week Haider Rubbani & Rob Blanchette sit down to analyse Manchester United's tactical performance against high flying Hammers.West Ham will be without United loanee Jesse Lingard as he is unable to play against his parent club. He has been in fantastic form with 4G 1A in 6 games for the East London club. 

A win propels WHU joint with Chelsea on 51 points, keeping their Champions League hope very much alive. United have some major injury issues and will be without the likes of Pogba, Van De Beek, Cavani, Martial and possibly Rashford (late fitness test). United need to win to close the gap on City which is now 17 points, although the Red Devils have 2 games in hand.United sealed the 3 points with a 1-0 victory courtesy of Dawson's own goal. They did the business in a drab affair, the most important thing at this stage is 3 points. Only 9 games to go now.

Ole and his men will be hoping to put and end to Chelsea's run, and to open up a bigger gap between themselves and the Blues.

In the end, the spoils were shared as both sides played out a 0-0 draw. United pressed very aggressively and high up today, which took Tuchel by surprise. Both sides were very structured in their shape. A draw was a fair result.

What a HUGE victory for the men in red! United smashed Saints for 9 with their biggest victory in 27 years. The tone was set by the outstanding full backs, with Shaw providing for Wan-Bissaka to drive home from close range. Bruno got back on the score sheet with a goal & two assists, and Martial finally got amongst the goals with second half brace.
