“The Trouble with Trouble” – “Out of Trouble comes Great Blessing” – Spiritually, what is going on? - * The enemy exploits trouble. * We were not created to be compatible with trouble. * We are called for whatever we encounter. * The battle with trouble is within us. – Romans * “Life in the Spirit” – In the midst of immense trouble, we can thrive! – The devil loves to create fear but we have the power to cause him to run. – For things that are the problem in our life: 1 The devil exploits problems. 2 We are our own biggest problem. 3 Life Stuff found in Romans 8, tries to bring us down. 4 Genetics – We are genetically designed to live in abundance. – Mark 4:35-41 Jesus calms the storm. Mark 4:39 He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, "Quiet! Be still!" Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.

We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him." - * Many supernatural happenings where around Jesus’s birth. * A light shines the brightest when it is the darkest.- When there is a lot of darkness we need to seek Jesus. - Why did the Wise Men risk everything to worship Jesus? 8 There revelation of God’s work was so refined that they could see through the false kingdom of Herod. * They did not recognize Herod as there king. They wanted to honor the true king. - God lines things up even under the evil that is over us. God will make a way for you in the midst of a storm.

Live a life that honors them. - You may only have one vote but you can influence may others. - Ephesians 4:1 – Live a life worth of the sacrifice Christ made. - Do not become a slave to fear. Know the truth for it will set you free. - There is a cost to freedom.

“Prepare Your Minds for Action” – “We need a move of God like never before.” - 1Peter 1:13 Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed. - * Our hope must be set only in Jesus our savior. - * We need to be set apart to God. - * The church needs to step up to the plat and address our concerns about what is going on. - What is the church’s role today in this current crisis? - * Not the time to lay down our rights. - * The light shines brightest in the darkness. - * We need to step out of our comfort zone. - Mark 9:50 "Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can you make it salty again? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with each other." - Matthew 5:14 "You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.

“Palm Sunday – Trust the Character of God” – “Trust the Character of God as He has demonstrated in what He has done.” – Joshua 7:1-10 What is going on here? * The Sin of Achan * God was serious, don’t touch what is mine. * We think we know better than God especially when we have had success. * We forget what God has done for us in the past. This can happen even to the best of us. – Joshua missed that God was reveling His character to his people by what He did. God cares about His people. – Don’t compromise on what God has told you to do. - Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
