you know what i mean?
Best friends Thea and Kaley have a lot of questions. They also have a lot of opinions. What better way to air out those comments and concerns than with eachother (and the rest of the internet)? 'you know what i mean?' is a podcast of two twenty-something girls giving their takes on some common (and many not so common) topics and ideas. Join them each week as they discuss their views on random topics and find out if you think they're a little crazy, or if you can totally relate - you know what i mean?
We made it back for another week! Are you surprised? We kind of are if we're being honest. Anyways, this week we talked about something that neither of us really understand at all, which is somewhat of a rarity for us. But seriously, why does daylight savings exist? And who deemed leap years a necessity? Who knows. We also talk fears and phobias (NOT fetishes) and why we think they exist. We embarrass ourselves in more ways than one in this episode, so enjoy! Also, if you haven't already, make sure you follow us on Spotify and turn on notifications so you never miss a new episode!
P.S. Sorry this description sucks, this episode is all over the place and I don't have enough wit to try and describe it this week.
P.P.S. The sea monster Kaley was thinking of was the Loch Ness Monster. I just had to put that out there.
Hey guys! After a very long year with no new episodes we are so excited to be back to recording! A lot has changed in the last year, as we're sure you all know, but we decided that would make for the perfect opportunity to talk about the new hobbies and habits people may have picked up in their newfound free time. From dry shampoo to TikTok, we talk about things that we've started doing, as well as a few things we will honestly probably never do (we're looking at you, DIYs). Also, I do feel the need to mention that I can understand where Thea was going with the word "conscience". She knew her destination, she just didn't have a ride to get there. Anyways, as always, this description will probably make a lot more sense after you listen to the podcast. So what are you waiting for? No seriously, press play right now. We're so glad to be back!
Our week seven episode is extra special because we finally have our first guest on the podcast! Austin joins us this week to talk about tacos, adrenaline, super powers, and flashlights (?), as well as a few other random topics - per usual. Tune in to hear a third opinion on all the pointless conversations Kaley and Thea usually have with each other every week. Special thanks to Austin for putting up with us for the duration of this podcast.

We talk about Girl Scout cookies, watching shows on Netflix, and taking naps (honestly the power trio). There was no real method to the madness this week, so if you aren't that impressed, that's okay because our expectations were low from the beginning tbh. We also talk about the first special guest that could have been (eyeroll). This position is still open, so if you want it to be you, send us a message!

Have you ever wondered what defines a sandwich? Or how to categorize sauces, condiments and dressings? Probably not, but we're going to talk about it anyways. We also talk about getting gas (for our cars) and receipts (the paper kind). Also, how do you pronounce the word 'root'? We spend a good amount of time arguing about that, too.

They discuss dreaming, internal dialogue, and hyponosis, and for some reason Thea decides to talk about why she is afraid to make phone calls. Who knows why our minds work the way they do, but these two make an attempt to explain it in this episode. If you've been here since the beginning, thanks for tuning in for one whole month. Welcome to week four!
--- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/appThe main topic of this week's episode is all about routines - from when you wake up in the morning (regardless of what time that is or how many alarms it takes you to do so), to when you go to sleep at night. Thea and Kaley even give you a little bit of an inside look into specific parts of their daily routines. AND since this episode was recorded just before Valentine's Day, they had to talk about holidays and other important days - and what makes them less special (no hate).

(Thea finds out the fun term used to describe this phenomenon in this episode). This week, Kaley and Thea talk about their views on body temperature, hand dominance, the significance behind certain numbers, and even the dreaded plumber's crack (you're curious now, aren't you?). If you want to find out Kaley and Thea's responses to these questions and many more that you didn't ask for, press play!
--- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/appIn our FIRST EVER podcast, we talk about why we decided to start this "hobby" and what we plan to talk about in future episodes. We also introduce a few of our first "you know what I mean?" topics - appetizers, sarcasm, and weird food combinations. We also talk about some other shit that we weren't planning on talking about, but that will probably be the norm here. Most of the things we bring up in this episode were things we discussed while we were eating supper tonight. Hopefully we don't bore you to death, but even if we did, keep coming back because we can only get better from here! (right?)
